Job summary

Al Jomaih Energy and Water is seeking a seasoned Inventory Controller to manage stock levels, oversee receiving, inspection and storage of materials, and coordinate with maintenance and procurement teams. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and efficient warehouse operations.

You will maintain records, prepare requisitions, monitor purchase orders, and drive improvements in inventory practices to support ongoing operations and reliability.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma/degree in supply chain management or related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in storekeeping or inventory management in industrial/power generation settings.
• Technical: Proficient with inventory management software and MS Office; strong control practices are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all inventory items and stock levels in the system.
• Oversee receiving and inspection of materials, ensuring quality and proper documentation.
• Organize storage areas and implement labeling/categorization for efficient retrieval.
• Prepare requisitions and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery for maintenance needs.
• Monitor stock levels, advise on reorders, and manage surplus/obsolete inventory.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of inventory movements, receipts and shipments.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies in material handling.
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations and procurement to align inventory with needs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management and storekeeping.
