Job summary

Parsons Corporation seeks a Senior Estimating Engineer - Infrastructure in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, to develop accurate, market-aligned cost estimates for complex projects from early design through final construction documents.

You will use CostX, Candy and BIM tools to drive rigorous takeoffs, price discipline and value engineering across large development programs. Strong knowledge of GCC markets and procurement is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for infrastructure and construction projects at various design stages.
• Develop defensible pricing models from drawings, specs, scope documents, market data and benchmarks.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from 2D drawings and BIM models, including 5D estimation.
• Use CostX, Candy, Bluebeam or similar tools to improve estimate accuracy and documentation.
• Review drawings, documents and scope to identify cost drivers and gaps.
• Maintain knowledge of Saudi Arabia and GCC labor rates and material costs.
• Support design teams with value engineering and cost comparisons.
• Review bids, proposals, variations and tender submissions against baselines.
• Conduct variance analysis to spot pricing inconsistencies and risks.
• Assist project controls with cost risk and contingency planning.
• Capture cost data for benchmarking and future estimates.
• Coordinate with procurement and client teams to reflect realistic delivery conditions.
• Prepare reports, basis of estimate documents and pricing explanations for management.
