Job summary

Parsons is seeking a BIM Design Engineer for infrastructure in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on intelligent 3D modeling, coordination, clash detection, and digital asset information throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 7 years of BIM delivery experience on large infrastructure projects, with proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, and BIM 360. Willingness to relocate to Tabuk is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain multidisciplinary BIM models from conceptual to as‑built stages.
• Ensure models comply with BIM Execution Plan and project information requirements.
• Produce coordinated civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure content.
• Manage model federation and combine discipline models in coordinated environments.
• Conduct clash detection using Navisworks Manage and coordination platforms.
• Lead clash‑review workshops and coordinate resolution of design conflicts.
• Maintain clash registers, assign actions, and verify closure before construction release.
• Review contractor and subcontractor submissions for geometry, metadata and information accuracy.
• Audit models against LOD 300 through LOD 500 requirements.
• Confirm model compliance with ISO 19650 information‑management standards.
• Perform routine engineering calculations and support technical layouts and designs.
• Extract shop drawings, schedules, quantities, and material take‑offs.
• Coordinate model revisions with design engineers and site teams.
• Support construction teams with model reviews, visualizations, and sequencing data.
• Administer BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud workflows for sharing and approvals.
• Maintain model version control and common data environment compliance.
• Use Dynamo, Python, or similar tools to automate BIM tasks and improve data quality.
• Assist with transferring verified BIM data into asset management systems.
• Prepare BIM coordination reports, health checks, and progress summaries.
• Support project handover with as‑built models and asset data.
