Job summary

DS DeepSource seeks a senior technical lead to act as SME for cloud initiatives across multi-vendor environments. You will guide implementation, coordinate vendor teams, and mentor the project group to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

You will own technical delivery, mitigate risks, document architecture, and ensure successful testing and deployment, while transferring knowledge to the client's IT team for ongoing operations.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert and point of contact for the project
• Collaborate with the project manager to develop and execute the technical implementation plan
• Lead and coordinate the activities of the vendor technical teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the project team, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, proactively addressing any issues that may arise
• Ensure the deployment and configuration of the cloud technologies meet the project's functional and performance requirements
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture, configurations, and procedures
• Support the testing and validation of the implemented solutions, working closely with the project stakeholders
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to the client's IT team, enabling them to effectively manage and maintain the deployed systems.

• Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in cloud technologies, particularly with Red Hat OpenStack, Palo Alto Networks, F5, and IBM Watson Cloud Pak
• Thorough understanding of the local IT landscape and cultural nuances in Iraq to effectively lead technical initiatives and drive successful outcomes
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams and mentoring junior team members
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Engineer, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator, IBM Certified Solution Architect)
• Experience in the deployment and integration of complex, multi-vendor IT solutions
• Knowledge of the Iraqi IT and business landscape
