Job summary

DeepSource Technologies in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure across servers, storage, networking, and security. You will manage Windows/Linux systems, virtualizations (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper‑V), and hybrid-cloud environments with Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities include DR planning, automation with PowerShell/Bash/Python, and collaboration with cybersecurity, network, and application teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
• Experience with VMware/Hyper‑V virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and identity/access management.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or hybrid-cloud infrastructure.
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing).
• Experience with SAN/NAS storage, backup, DR solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Manage Windows Server and/or Linux systems, including patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper‑V, or equivalent technologies.
• Support cloud and hybrid‑cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related Microsoft infrastructure services.
• Configure and maintain enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Support LAN/WAN infrastructure and coordinate with network and security teams when required.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, capacity, and performance and proactively address potential issues.
• Implement infrastructure security standards, access controls, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and patch management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure/system engineering, including significant experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
• Strong experience with VMware, Hyper‑V, or similar virtualization technologies.
• Good knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity/access management.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or hybrid‑cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of enterprise networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
• Experience with enterprise SAN/NAS storage, backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and management tools.
• Strong understanding of high availability, business continuity, security, and infrastructure best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root‑cause‑analysis skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in business‑critical environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, VMware VCP, Red Hat RHCE, Microsoft, Cisco, or ITIL.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Python, or Bash.
• Experience supporting large‑scale, highly available enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
