Job summary

KalSoft is seeking a Senior IBM BAW/BPM Developer to design, develop, integrate, and support BPM solutions for banking operations in Riyadh. Strong hands-on experience with IBM BAW/BPM, BPMN, and enterprise workflow development is required. Appian experience is a plus.

Responsibilities include designing workflows, integrating with core banking platforms, ensuring security and compliance, and delivering SDLC deliverables with clear documentation.

About the Role

KalSoft is looking for an experienced Senior IBM BAW / BPM Developer to design, develop, integrate, and support business process automation solutions for banking and financial services operations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) / BPM, business process modeling, application integration, and enterprise workflow development. Experience with Appian will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop business process workflows using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) for banking processes such as loan origination, account opening, trade finance, and customer onboarding.
• Work closely with business teams and stakeholders to understand banking process requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Integrate IBM BAW solutions with core banking platforms and other financial systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, improve system performance, and maintain existing workflow applications.
• Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to workflow applications and solutions.
• Ensure developed solutions align with business requirements, technical standards, security practices, and banking requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands‑on experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) / IBM BPM.
• Proven experience working on projects within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).
• Strong experience with Java, JavaScript, REST, and SOAP web services.
• Good understanding of database concepts and SQL.
• Proven experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia is required.
• Knowledge of SAMA regulations and other relevant banking compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and data protection requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Good to Have

• Experience with Appian BPM platform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience with enterprise banking workflow and process automation projects.
• Knowledge of integration patterns and enterprise application integration will be an added advantage.
