Job summary

Parsons in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Health and Safety Manager to oversee SH&E programs on a major construction project. You will drive workplace inspections, audits, hazard controls, incident management, and performance monitoring.

The role collaborates with project teams to ensure compliance with the Parsons Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program, while delivering training and guidance to eliminate workplace hazards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• NEBOSH certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience, including 4+ in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of SH and E regulations and reporting procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project or Program Manager with administration of SH and E programs.
• Audit project activities and worksites against applicable corporate standards.
• Conduct worksite inspections to identify hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Provide technical guidance to project personnel on eliminating or controlling SH and E risks.
• Prepare and submit written audit and inspection reports.
• Monitor project or program work planning and performance.
• Verify that planning activities and work execution conform to the Parsons Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program management system.
• Implement Parsons occupational injury and incident reporting processes.
• Support established incident management requirements and follow-up activities.
• Participate in routine safe work briefings.
