Job summary

AimGulf is seeking an experienced Health and Safety professional to integrate safety requirements into complex project planning, design, and operations in Riyadh. You will lead risk assessments, inspections, and safety communications to reduce adverse impacts across projects.

The role requires strong knowledge of international health and safety standards, with extensive experience (10-15 years) in similar environments and a Bachelor of Engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree required with relevant international health and safety qualifications.
• Experience in risk assessment and safety program implementation is essential.
• Strong incident reporting and stakeholder communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure safety requirements are implemented by Client, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Raise safety observations using Employer's online reporting systems.
• Participate in safety pre-start kick-off meetings with client contractors per Expo Riyadh Construction Safety Manual.
• Verify daily safety-related security, traffic management, logistics and emergency arrangements.
• Follow up on safety non-conformances to ensure timely rectification and maintained controls.
• Issue suspension of work instructions when safety controls fail or risk is imminent.
• Discuss reward and recognition schemes in weekly client meetings.
• Verify compliance with traffic management plan and PAPI programs daily.
• Discuss monthly with contractors to produce health and safety files per Employer requirements.
