Job summary

HMH seeks an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to support lifecycle equipment installations, commissioning and repairs on site in Saudi Arabia. You will mentor peers, coordinate parts and field service activities, and advise clients on upgrades while adhering to HSSE policies.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years in the oil drilling arena, including Siemens/ABB software handling, PLC programming and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

BS or higher in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
2+ years in installation, Siemens & ABB software handling, troubleshooting, and programming.
Proficient in electrical and hydraulic circuits; able to read schematics.
PLC operation and programming proficiency; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and reports for service engagements.
Lead and coordinate work of team members on site (non-supervisory).
Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair Lifecycle Services equipment.
Coordinate with Managers for parts, materials and onsite support.
Advise customers on modifications or upgrades to equipment.
Supervise subcontracted personnel and ensure HSSE compliance.
Document services, time tickets, reports and expense records.
