Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for the Fortary Platform in Saudi Arabia. You will lead multiple teams responsible for custody, transaction authorization, key management, wallets, and blockchain integrations, shaping the architecture and roadmap of a distributed MPC custody platform for institutional scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in people leadership of distributed systems teams.
• Experience owning large-scale security-critical platforms from design to production and operation.
• Deep expertise in modern cryptography and secure key-management technologies (MPC, threshold signatures, TEEs, HSMs).
• Cloud-native design with Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, observability, and resilient infrastructure.
• Knowledge of security/compliance frameworks for regulated financial services (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, AML/KYC) and regulatory environments such as SEC, CFTC, OCC, MiCA.
• Experience in digital asset infrastructure across custody, trading, staking, treasury, and blockchain settlement.
• Ability to lead complex organizations while maintaining high engineering and security standards.
• Strong communication to work with executives, institutional customers, auditors, regulators and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams delivering custody, transaction authorization, key management, wallets, and blockchain integrations.
• Own the architecture, strategy, and roadmap for a distributed MPC custody platform including disaster recovery, governance, and security controls.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, Business Development and executive leadership to align technology with customer and regulatory needs.
• Support deployment models including managed-platform and licensed-software environments.
• Establish engineering practices meeting security, compliance, resilience, and governance requirements as the platform matures.
• Lead incident response, outages, and security events to ensure rapid resolution and continuous improvement.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineering managers and senior engineers while building leadership culture.
• Promote AI-assisted engineering practices to boost productivity and delivery quality across teams.
• Balance scalability, resilience, security, compliance, and long-term maintainability in technical decisions.
