Job summary

Marid is seeking an Engineering Manager to own the execution of our engineering roadmap in Riyadh. You will lead day-to-day delivery, manage vendor relationships, and turn technical priorities into shipped software.

You’ll partner with leadership on strategic direction and drive tangible results that align with our Open Banking platform’s ambitions. You will translate priorities into sprint plans, set quality standards, and build a scalable engineering team as we grow in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 2+ years leading engineering delivery or managing teams
• Experience managing outsourced or contracted engineering teams
• Strong ability to translate business priorities into delivery plans
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of reviewing code and technical output critically

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day execution of the engineering team, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, and quality standards
• Manage technology vendor relationships and ensure accountability
• Translate the technical roadmap into sprint plans and milestones
• Establish code review, QA, and documentation processes
• Identify delivery and technical risks early and drive resolution
• Contribute to building and shaping the permanent engineering team and hiring plan
• Be the go-to person for delivery status and blockers
