Job summary

Jobgether, in partnership with a fintech leader in Saudi Arabia, seeks a Technical Leader (Fullstack Backend focused) to shape architecture, standards, and the engineering roadmap while remaining hands-on.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, design scalable backend services, and collaborate with Product, Frontend, DevOps, and security to deliver robust APIs and distributed systems. Embrace AI-driven development for velocity and quality.

Qualifications

• a bachelor-level or higher degree is not stated; experience-driven role requiring 6+ years backend exp.
• Proven leadership in technical teams and roadmap ownership.
• Strong TS/Node.js with NestJS or Express.js.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, establish coding standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product, Frontend, DevOps to deliver scalable backend solutions.
• Architect and maintain high-performing backend services and APIs.
• Design for availability, performance, security, and zero-downtime deployment.
• Own backend direction and long-term roadmap balancing speed and maintainability.
• Improve reliability via testing, monitoring, observability, and incident management.
• Leverage AI tools to boost productivity and code quality.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve platform and workflows.
• Translate business needs into robust backend architectures.
