Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Head of Engineer - Web3/Crypto for a partner company based in Saudi Arabia. The role blends hands-on engineering with strategic leadership to shape scalable blockchain products.

You will lead frontend and backend teams, drive architecture and security, and guide delivery from concept to production while defining the technical roadmap in Web3, crypto, and digital assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical field.
• 7+ years engineering/tech management experience, leading teams.
• At least 2 years hands-on blockchain development with Solidity/Ethereum.
• Strong knowledge of blockchain apps, protocols, and libraries like Web3.js.
• Experience deploying blockchain apps and working with smart contracts.
• Proficiency in front-end and back-end languages and frameworks (JS/HTML/CSS, Python, Java, etc).
• Experience with data analysis, modeling, and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of blockchain capabilities while mentoring teams.
• Own technical direction across full SDLC from architecture to deployment.
• Develop scalable, secure blockchain-based applications and databases.
• Design/build apps using Solidity, JavaScript, and Web3 libraries.
• Ensure secure systems for recording blockchain data and transactions.
• Research and test emerging blockchain technologies and applications.
• Provide end-to-end software across front-end and back-end systems.
• Support transaction monitoring to identify crypto risks.
• Analyze complex datasets and translate into actionable insights.
• Develop rules, models, queries, and visualization software.
• Manage team goals, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align tech with product goals.
• Document solutions and maintain system documentation.
• Prepare reports on crypto risks and asset activity.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering practices.
