Job summary

Almarai is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead maintenance and reliability across Rabigh operations. You will drive a total preventative maintenance program, optimize asset utilization and supervise a multi‑disciplinary engineering team.

You will partner with operations, safety, and finance to deliver reliable, cost‑effective results while upholding Almarai’s quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of food manufacturing processes, and a track record of TPM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (UK standards accepted).
• Minimum 7 years of engineering management experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes and operations.
• Extensive knowledge of plant, equipment and control systems; experience with automated equipment.

The Role / Opportunity

Maintain company assets by implementing a total preventative Maintenance system that ensures complete operational availability to all departments as and when the business requires. He is to comply with agreed standards, budget and provisions as set down by the business, and meet management performance Targets as set by the business, ensuring all Plant and equipment is in an optimal condition at all times and complying with standards and costs. He is to

ensure there are adequate provision of skills, labour and guidance across all departments so as to

meet the business requirements.

The candidate must meet the following criteria to be shortlisted:

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or an HND or HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (UK standards).
• A minimum of 7 years of engineering management experience in a similar role within the food industry, with proven team leadership and people management skills in a multi-skilled workforce.
• Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes and operations.
• Extensive knowledge of engineering plant, equipment and control systems, including the research, design and development of automated equipment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
• Experience in budget management and cost control.
• Strong safety leadership, decision-making and risk management skills.
