Job summary

Maaden is seeking an Inventory Planner to codify spare parts, create material masters, and manage stock levels per maintenance requirements. You will maintain critical spares lists, coordinate ERP procurement, and ensure timely delivery of materials across the site.

The role requires strong CMMS experience (Oracle EAM), advanced Excel/Project skills, and a solid understanding of spare parts planning and stock optimization within a mining/industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in maintenance and spare parts planning.
• Fluent in communication and efficient in technical writing.
• Inventory management, Asset management, Risk management certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform spare parts codification and material master creation in Pilog and execute amendments on items codified as per maintenance and reliability requirements.
• Maintain a master list of line items codified under the assigned area and track inventory levels.
• Track transactions of items with inventory planning (Min/Max stock levels) and coordinate with inventory team to initiate procurement.
• Maintain a site critical spares and consumable/short life spares list with area maintenance and daily planning.
• Requisition of purchase-on-demand items in ERP (nonstock, stock-on-request, capital spares) and coordinate cross-functional communication in the purchase cycle.
• Evaluate technical quotations for the assigned area and coordinate extended evaluation when required.
• Track delivery of material.

Job description

• Perform spare parts codification and material master creation in Pilog and execute the amendments on the items codified as per maintenance and reliability requirements.
• Maintain a master list of line items codified under the assigned area and track the inventory levels of the items based on the assigned inventory strategy.
• Track the transactions of item codified with inventory planning (pre-defined Min/Max stock levels) and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure the procurement process to replenish the items are initiated.
• Maintain a site critical spares and consumable/short life spares list exclusively with area maintenance and daily planning.
• Requisition of purchase-on-demand items in ERP (nonstock, stock-on-request and capital spares) and cross-functional communication required in the purchase cycle of these items.
• Evaluation of the technical quotations received for the assigned area and the cross functional communication if required extended evaluation from maintenance and reliability on the quotation.
• Track the delivery of the material

Technical skill requirements

• Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Oracle EAM.
• Expert understanding of planning concepts within automated application systems, Spare parts planning, strategy used in Spare parts planning and stock optimization.
• Sound expertise in Microsoft Excel, Project and Power point, and other planning tools.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Hands on experience in cataloging and international standers and best practices in cataloging.
• Understanding in supply chain and logistics workflow.
• Hands-on experience in Inventory optimization and criticality assessment tools.
