Job summary

BEC Arabia in Riyadh seeks a Technical - Electrical Team Leader to lead a team of engineers and designers on mega-projects across construction and infrastructure. You will drive technical excellence, coordination with PMs and architects, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

You will shape electrical design deliverables using AutoCAD, ETAP and Revit MEP, mentor engineers, and contribute to Saudi Vision 2030 through innovative, high-impact solutions on landmark city developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• SCE registration or eligibility.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, and Revit MEP.
• Knowledge of SBC and relevant standards.
• Experience with high- and low-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering team in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Develop detailed electrical designs, including schematics, layouts, and specifications, using industry-standard software.
• Ensure compliance with SBC, SCE requirements, and other relevant regulations.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance to team members to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Oversee the preparation of technical documentation, including calculations, reports, and as-built drawings.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate and select electrical materials, equipment, and vendors.
• Implement safety standards and ensure all electrical systems comply with OSHA, NEBOSH, and ISO 45001 requirements.
• Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.
