Job summary

Lucid Motors in Saudi Arabia is seeking an ECU MFG HW SW Engineer responsible for end-to-end software release management across engineering, manufacturing, sustaining and operations teams for in-house Low Voltage ECUs. You will own release timing, content readiness, validation, and traceability from development to production rollout.

The role requires coordinating with Test, MFG Operations and contract manufacturers, driving issue resolution, and ensuring accurate flashing information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS, EE, CE or related field.
• 7 years of experience in electronics to end customers.
• At least 5 years in technical roles.
• Experience in SW release process, SW testing, Jira, waterfall, Development SCRUM and build processes.
• Experience in high volume Consumer or Enterprise with Automotive ECU experience a definite plus.
• Excellent communication skills (writing and oral).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sustaining activities and troubleshoot hardware-related issues impacting ECU flashing and production continuity.
• Serve as technical contact between in-house Low Voltage ECU team and Lucid Manufacturing teams for sustaining issues.
• Track SW releases timing and content rollout with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate software releases with business stakeholders.
• Manage in-house ECU SW release process with Test Team, MFG Operations and Contract Manufacturers.
• Collaborate with TPMs, SW engineers and test engineers to maintain release management system solutions and processes.
• Provide information requested (SW files location, flashing tools, traceability) for all builds.
• Communicate status to management for all programs.
• Review and sign off SW QUALs, PCRs, ECRs, ECOs for ECUs.
• Manage multiple concurrent releases from development to production rollout.
• Lead team to achieve goals and track open SW issues to resolution.
