Job summary

Lucid Motors in Saudi Arabia seeks a Manager, Drive Unit to lead a team of engineers in delivering KPI-driven performance for the Drive Unit System. You will mentor staff, align workloads with engineering leadership, and drive change management across core hardware and cross-functional teams.

You will champion data-driven problem solving, DoE, DFMEA/PFMEA practices, and ensure robust interfaces with other systems while fostering an environment of trust and high productivity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years automotive design and release experience.
• Experience with 8D, 7 Step, RedX, DMAIC methodologies.
• Ability to set clear KPIs from broader vision and mission.
• Resident hardware engineer in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a team of product engineers to address product and multi-variable problems within Drive Unit System.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for workload prioritization and decisions.
• Conduct DoE-driven problem solving and root-cause analysis.
• Establish technical depth in Electric Drive Unit hardware and interfaces.
• Foster trust and an efficient work culture to deliver impactful results.
• Manage conflicts/escalations across plant functions with competing priorities.
• Develop processes/tools to improve productivity and hold functions accountable.
• Lead product change management for high-volume production with core hardware teams.
