Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking an ECU MFG HW/SW Engineer to own software release management across engineering builds, manufacturing, sustaining, and operations. This role ensures release timing, content readiness, validation, and traceability for production and service needs while coordinating updates for new programs and sustaining operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, CE or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sustaining activities and troubleshoot hardware-related issues impacting ECU flashing, manufacturing testing, software deployment, or production continuity.
• Serve as the technical contact between in-house LV ECU team and Lucid Manufacturing teams for sustaining issues and production support.
• Establish and track SW releases, timing, and content rollout based on program plans across cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate software releases with business stakeholders as the user champion.
• Manage in-house SW release processes with Test Team (MFG), Operations and Contract Manufacturers.
• Collaborate with TPMs, SW engineers and test engineers to implement and maintain release management systems and processes.
• Provide information requests (SW files location, flashing tools, traceability) for all engineering builds and production.
• Regularly update management on activities and status for all programs.
