Qualifications

• MSc or equivalent engineering degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronic disciplines.
• 5–10 years of process engineering in high‑volume manufacturing, automotive preferred.
• Hands‑on production‑floor ownership of a process at rate.
• Strong knowledge of takt‑based manufacturing, line balancing, OEE, downtime reduction.
• Experience with SPC, DOE, MSA/Gage R&R, and capability analysis using Minitab/JMP/Python/R.
• Familiarity with PFMEA, control plans, APQP, and PPAP.

Responsibilities

• Own the process definition, control plans, and change control from install through stable‑rate production.
• Lead equipment commissioning, DOE studies, and qualification runs.
• Deliver APQP and PPAP for your area.
• Engineer to takt by balancing stations and removing bottlenecks.
• Drive ramp‑up using scrap, rework, first‑pass yield, and downtime data.
• Provide first‑line technical escalation and structured problem solving (8D/5‑Why).
• Design error‑proofing and in‑line verification.
• Build data foundation with SPC, MES, and traceability systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers on JIT/JIS and PPAP.
