Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Group is seeking a seasoned Document Controller in Saudi Arabia to establish and manage robust document systems for project communications, design and construction records. You will act as the main interface between client and consultant, ensuring accuracy, version control, and timely distribution of documents throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 5+ years in document control, fluency in English, and strong knowledge of EDMS tools and Oracle ACONEX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; IT preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of document control experience.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Extensive knowledge of EDMS systems and Oracle ACONEX.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary document control interface between the client and Consultant.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing project documentation; ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Register, track, and control documents, drawings, submissions, and correspondence in the DMS.
• Ensure proper document numbering, revision control, metadata accuracy, and naming conventions.
• Receive and verify documentation for compliance with project standards.
• Distribute documents to relevant client departments for review and approval.
• Monitor review cycles and follow up on overdue responses.
• Provide training and ongoing support to clients on DMS usage.
• Perform other duties as requested.
