Job summary

ARX is seeking a Design Manager in Riyadh with a minimum of 12 years in design management for complex infrastructure and buildings projects. You will lead a multidisciplinary design team, ensure technical coherence, manage client interfaces, and drive design delivery from concept through close-out in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years in design management or multidisciplinary design coordination, with at least 5 in a lead role.
• 5+ years in KSA experience and exposure to Saudi authority approval processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the multidisciplinary design team (civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and specialists) and ensure design coherence.
• Own design delivery through all stages from concept to close-out.
• Coordinate with client, subconsultants, contractors, suppliers, and Saudi authorities.
• Review and approve design deliverables for SBC compliance and employer’s requirements.
• Chair design coordination meetings and drive decisions with documented audit trails.
• Drive design comments and changes through to formal closure.
