Job summary

Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced Material Engineer for construction materials in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will oversee material approvals, laboratory testing, compliance, traceability, and QA across concrete, asphalt, soils, aggregates, steel, pipes, geotextiles, and related materials used on major infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction materials engineering or quality control.
• Experience with airport, infrastructure, roads, civil works, utilities, or large-scale construction programs preferred.
• Professional Engineering certification or equivalent materials/testing credentials advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review material submittals and technical submissions from contractors and suppliers.
• Verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and standards.
• Manage material approval tracking and laboratory testing coordination.
• Support material testing plans, inspection plans, and traceability documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, construction, procurement, consultants, and laboratories to secure timely approvals.
