Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks an experienced Construction Manager to oversee all construction activities for a major site supervision project. You will lead, coordinate, and deliver high-profile building and hospitality developments with strict adherence to drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

The role requires 15+ years in construction, with 8+ years as a Construction Manager on major buildings, and a proven track record in PMC/engineering consultancy environments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master's Degree in Construction Management or Project Management preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer, PMP or equivalent certification desirable.
• Minimum 15+ years of overall construction experience in building construction.
• Minimum 8 years in a Construction Manager role on major buildings.
• Extensive experience in site supervision consultancy, PMC or engineering consultancy environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing and multidisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all construction supervision activities during the project execution phase.
• Monitor and manage daily construction operations to ensure compliance with designs and contract requirements.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site supervision personnel across multiple disciplines.
• Ensure activities align with project schedules and approved work programs.
• Review methodologies, work sequences and resource deployment plans.
• Monitor contractor performance and recommend corrective actions for productivity or quality.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, planning, commercial, and quality teams to meet project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.
• Identify delays, risks and construction constraints on site.
• Lead coordination and progress review meetings with stakeholders.
• Resolve RFI and technical issues; ensure QA/QC implementation.
• Monitor HSE performance and compliance with safety requirements.
• Review method statements and temporary works proposals.
• Verify progress for payment certification and reporting.
• Coordinate inspections and close non-conformances.
• Support project controls in evaluating impacts, variations and claims.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and handover activities.
• Maintain construction records and reports per requirements.
• Support project closeout and contractual obligations.
• Mentor site engineers and supervision staff.
