Job summary

Alfanar Projects is seeking a Senior Cost Control Engineer to manage and forecast costs across construction projects in Saudi Arabia. You will set up budgets, track actuals, and provide reliable forecasts to project teams and finance.

Qualifications

• Requires hands-on cost control experience in large construction or EPC environments.
• Experience setting up project budgets, tracking costs, and preparing forecasts and financial reports.
• Strong understanding of cost performance, cash flow forecasting, and POC.

Responsibilities

• Set up project cost breakdown structures and budgets in SAP or similar system.
• Review scope to prepare estimates to complete.
• Track actual costs, commitments, and budget changes.
• Compare budgeted vs actual costs and explain overruns.
• Prepare and update cost forecasts, cash flows, and reports.
• Analyze completion percentage, progress, and financial performance with teams.
• Communicate cost risks and actions to protect profitability.
• Support cost-saving initiatives without impacting delivery.
• Prepare clear reports and dashboards for project teams.
