Job summary

Saipem in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Cost Control Engineer to lead project cost control within the Project Control and Risk Management area. The role requires owning the cost control system, conducting variance analysis, forecasts and timely support to project leadership with actionable data.

Ideal candidates will have senior EPC/Oil & Gas experience, proficiency in SAP, PRISM, Primavera P6, and advanced Excel, plus strong English communication for international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as Cost Control/Project Control in EPC or oil & gas projects.
• Ability to manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow and variance analysis.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to interact with international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the project cost control system per procedures and contracts.
• Define and manage Cost Breakdown Structure and budget allocation.
• Monitor actual vs. forecast costs, earned value, cash flow and invoicing.
• Prepare changes, deviations, and corrective actions with management.
• Support risk and opportunity analysis through cost evaluations.
• Provide periodic Cost Control Reports and project status updates.
• Collaborate with AFC, Procurement and Contract Management to ensure data traceability.
