Job summary

UCC Holding is seeking an experienced cost control professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting for large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia. You will monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and support cost-driven decision making with rigorous financial analysis.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in cost control on mega projects, strong Excel and ERP skills, and outstanding coordination with Commercial, Procurement, Planning, and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of cost control experience in major construction projects.
• Experience with mega construction, hospitality, mixed-use, infrastructure, or high-value projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, variations, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and cost-control/project management systems; ERP experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, reporting, coordination, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets, cost plans, and cost control systems.
• Monitor actual costs, commitments, accruals, and expenditures against approved budgets.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, cash flow, and cost-to-complete reports.
• Analyze cost variances and identify potential cost overruns and financial risks.
• Review subcontractor, supplier, procurement, and variation costs.
• Monitor project progress against budget and provide accurate financial forecasts.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Procurement, Planning, Finance, and Project teams.
• Support preparation and evaluation of variations, change orders, and claims.
• Maintain accurate cost breakdown structures and project cost databases.
• Provide management with regular cost analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company cost-control procedures and approved project budgets.
