Job summary

Four Horizons Contracting Company is seeking a senior legally qualified claims manager to oversee strategic claims management and dispute avoidance across RUA Construction and infrastructure projects in the region.

The ideal candidate will have 12–18 years in construction law, with deep experience in FIDIC contracts and arbitration, capable of bridging legal, commercial, and technical aspects of mega-project claims in KSA/GCC.

Qualifications

• Qualified Lawyer (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized jurisdiction; admission to practice strongly preferred.
• Postgraduate in construction law, arbitration, or claims management is highly required.
• Minimum 12-18 years of experience in construction law, claims management across major infra, real estate and EPC projects.
• Demonstrated experience with FIDIC contracts and complex, high-value claims and disputes.
• Experience in KSA / GCC strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of EOT and delay analysis, variations, disruption and prolongation claims.
• Familiarity with arbitration processes (ICC, LCIA, SCCA or similar) and dispute mechanisms under construction contracts including FIDIC.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end claims lifecycle across projects.
• Oversee EOT, variations, disruption and prolongation claims.
• Develop and implement a claims management framework across RUA projects.
• Advise on contractual entitlements under FIDIC models and other contracts.
• Manage high-value, complex claims (offensive and defensive).
• Support and lead dispute resolution processes (DAB, DAAB arbitration, etc.).
• Coordinate with external counsel, delay experts and quantum consultants.
• Provide strategic advice to executive management on claims exposure and risk.
• Support project teams in claims avoidance strategies.
