Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to provide oversight and technical review of EPC contractor deliverables for onshore facilities in Saudi Arabia. You will review calculations, GA drawings, steel and concrete detailing, and foundation design packages to ensure performance and compliance.

With 12+ years in Civil/Structural Engineering, including 6+ years on oil & gas onshore projects, you will support project management during procurement and construction and participate in design

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering for oil and gas onshore projects.
• At least 6 years in structures for major oil and gas/Petrochemical onshore projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural oversight and technical review of EPC contractor deliverables for onshore facilities.
• Review design calculations, GA drawings, detailing, and foundation packages for codes.
• Ensure structural integrity, constructability and seismic compliance.
• Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and value engineering sessions.
• Provide technical support to project management during procurement and construction phases, including review of submittals and method statements.
• Monitor EPC contractor performance for schedule and quality.

Job Description

Provide structural engineering oversight and technical review of EPC contractor deliverables for onshore facilities. Review structural design calculations, general arrangement drawings, steel and concrete detailing, and foundation design packages for compliance with project specifications and applicable codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE, API). Ensure structural integrity, constructability, and seismic compliance of facilities. Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and value engineering sessions. Provide technical support to the project management team during procurement and construction phases, including review of material submittals and structural method statements. Monitor EPC contractor performance to ensure schedule adherence and quality of deliverables

Required Experience Criteria In Years

Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years of them within the field of Civil /Structural Engineering related to structures for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical Onshore projects.

Minimum Education Qualification Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

The job location will be based on Alkhafji , Saudi Arabia.
