Job summary

AECOM in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia seeks a detail-oriented BIM Engineer to develop, manage and coordinate Building Information Models for complex construction projects. You will collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors to ensure accurate modeling and seamless project delivery using Revit, ArchiCAD and Navisworks.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of BIM experience, strong modeling and clash detection skills, and a solid understanding of BIM standards and construction methods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional BIM experience in construction or architectural technology.
• Advanced proficiency with BIM software platforms (Revit, ArchiCAD, Navisworks).
• Strong 3D modeling, visualization, and drawing production skills.
• Solid knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
• Experience with MEP coordination and clash detection workflows.
• Understanding of building codes and construction methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive BIM models for complex projects.
• Coordinate MEP systems within the building model to resolve clashes.
• Perform clash detection analyses and generate reports for design teams.
• Create and manage technical documentation, drawings, and specifications from BIM models.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure BIM standards and best practices are applied.
• Translate project requirements into accurate BIM deliverables meeting codes and standards.
• Organize BIM data with proper file structures and version control.
• Support design phases, construction administration, and handover processes.
• Conduct QA reviews of BIM models to maintain data integrity.
• Provide BIM guidance and training to team members.
