Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Senior Architect for our Riyadh, Saudi Arabia office. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of architectural design experience in consultancy, with a strong focus on interface management and site supervision for roads, tunnels, bridges, and highways.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in architectural design within consultancy, with site supervision focus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp.
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, construction standards.
• Bachelor's in Architecture; Masters preferred; licensure advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design projects from concept to construction completion, ensuring compliance with design standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and landscape architects to integrate designs into project plans.
• Develop and review drawings, plans, and specifications for accuracy and constructability.
• Conduct site assessments, surveys, and investigations to inform design decisions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and team members.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulators to address design requirements and approvals.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design specs.
• Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and design changes.
• Prepare design presentations and client reports.
