Job summary

AECOM in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Architect - Building to lead design development and manage building projects. You will ensure compliance with local regulations, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and deliver constructible, value-driven solutions that meet client expectations and Saudi standards.

The role requires deep knowledge of Saudi Building Code, BIM expertise, and a track record in large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional architectural design & project management experience.
• Deep knowledge of Saudi Arabia's building codes & local authority procedures.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams across projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development from concept to construction-ready designs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities (structural, MEP, fire, sustainability).
• Manage design reviews, authority submissions, and approvals with authorities.
• Mentor junior architects and ensure QA/QC of deliverables.
• Support tender responses and construction phase RFI responses.
