Job summary

Greenberg Traurig, LLP in Riyadh seeks an Accounting Manager to lead the local finance, accounting, tax, and compliance functions. You will drive day-to-day activities, maintain ledgers, manage vendor payments, and coordinate with auditors and regulators to ensure compliance with local and firm-wide standards.

The role reports to the CFO and is based in the Riyadh Regional Headquarters. The ideal candidate has robust regulatory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 7–10 years progressive experience in accounting, finance, audit, and compliance.
• Ideally 4–5 years of experience with an international audit firm, manager level.
• Experience managing KSA statutory and regulatory requirements (Tax/VAT, WHT, ZATCA, GOSI, RHQ, Ministry of Justice).

Responsibilities

• Manage local office finance, accounting, bookkeeping, tax, audit, and compliance functions.
• Maintain accurate records: GL, journals, reconciliations, month-end close, reporting.
• Coordinate Tax/VAT, ZATCA, GOSI, RHQ, MoJ filings and regulatory reports.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, government authorities; coordinate audits.
• Enhance accounting procedures and internal controls for audit readiness.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial monitoring.
• Coordinate with US/Global teams for reporting alignment.
• Provide financial/compliance support to local leadership.
