Job summary

Workato is seeking an experienced Accountant in Riyadh to manage financial records, reports and compliance with GAAP. The role emphasizes accuracy, analysis of financial data, and timely closing processes. You will prepare statements, support budgeting and forecasting, monitor payables/receivables, and assist audits.

A Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of relevant experience are required. We are open to candidates from abroad.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports.
• Develop and maintain accounting systems and procedures.
• Provide budgeting and forecasting guidance.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and payroll calculations.
• Prepare tax returns and maintain business records.
• Generate detailed reports on expenses, income and accruals.
• Assist in audit engagements.
