• Define and implement the IT Security strategy within the assigned scope, aligning with Group Security strategy and business objectives.
• Lead development and execution of strategies for significant areas of responsibility, anticipating issues and opportunities.
• Provide authoritative specialist advice to leadership for policy implementation and project design.
• Manage area budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and guidelines for significant areas of responsibility.
• Foster partnerships with senior executives to access high-quality advice and guidance.
• Contribute to development of corporate strategy with functional expertise and insights.
• Develop and gain agreement on annual business plans, budgets, and business cases.
• Communicate the function's strategy and align it with mission, vision, and values.
• Manage performance of the function; set objectives and take corrective action.
• Define organization structure for a business area and responsibilities of senior managers.
• Identify and develop capabilities to meet current and emerging business needs.
• Represent the organization in industry forums and boards to promote the company brand.
