Job summary

BD in Saudi Arabia seeks a Country Business Leader to develop and execute surgeries business strategy, lead a high‑performing team, and expand market coverage while delivering sales GP and profitability targets.

You will own demand planning, government relationships, regulatory alignment, GTM implementation, and product launches, partnering with regional teams to strengthen the BD brand and drive sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 8+ years of sales and marketing leadership experience with at least 5 years of people management.
• Experience in multinational medical device or healthcare organizations desirable.
• Deep knowledge of Saudi procurement, tendering, and end-to-end healthcare sales cycle.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proven ability to develop commercial strategies and go-to-market models.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team; foster accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Own demand planning, inventory forecasting, budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Build strategic relationships with government entities and healthcare decision-makers.
• Identify growth opportunities within the Surgery portfolio and expand market share.
• Lead market research, analytics and performance assessments for strategy.
• Monitor market dynamics and competitor activity; craft counterstrategies.
• Develop customer-centric value propositions and drive product launches.
• Ensure timely registration and regulatory compliance for the Surgery portfolio.
• Represent BD at industry events and conferences; manage promotional investments and ROI.
• Collaborate with regional teams to define segmentation, targeting and growth strategies.
