Job summary

BD seeks a Country Business Leader (CBL) for Saudi Arabia to drive the Surgery portfolio's growth, profitability, and leadership. You will lead a high-performing team, implement GTM models, and manage government relationships to influence policy and funding priorities.

You will own demand planning, budgeting, and annual forecasts while promoting BD surgical products to key opinion leaders and end-users. Deep knowledge of Saudi procurement and hospital sales cycles is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
Extensive healthcare industry experience, preferably within clinical, surgical, perioperative, or medical device sectors.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Minimum of 8 years of sales and marketing leadership experience, including at least 5 years of people management responsibility.
Demonstrated track record of developing and delivering successful commercial strategies and GTM models.
Strong understanding of the surgical and perioperative care markets in Saudi Arabia.
Deep knowledge of Saudi procurement processes and end-to-end healthcare sales cycles.
Proficient in SFDC and CRM tools for pipeline management and forecasting.
Strong analytical and communication skills; results-oriented and collaborative.

Responsibilities

Drive launches of new products and extensions with commercialization strategies.
Ensure timely regulatory registration and compliance for the portfolio.
Represent BD at industry events and professional forums.
Manage promotional investments within budgets and optimize ROI.
Foster cross-functional collaboration and adherence to ethics and compliance.
