Job summary

Next Ventures seeks an experienced SAP MRO Lead to join a major Saudi manufacturing transformation, driving the MRO workstream within the S/4HANA programme. You will partner with business stakeholders and SAP teams to design and implement MRO, asset management, and integration across PM/EAM, MM, PP, QM, Finance and Logistics.

The role demands seniority, strong workshop facilitation, data migration support, and risk management in a multi-site environment. Onsite in Saudi Arabia with ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Lead SAP MRO / SAP EAM / SAP PM programmes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA in manufacturing, aerospace, defence or heavy engineering.
• Strong knowledge of MRO, repair and asset management processes.
• Experience across complex, multi-site SAP implementations or transformations.
• Strong integration knowledge with MRO/EAM and MM, PP, QM, Finance and Logistics.
• Experience leading workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Strong programme delivery and stakeholder management skills.
• Saudi Arabia or GCC experience is advantageous.

SAP MRO Lead

We are looking for an experienced SAP MRO Lead to join a major manufacturing organisation in Saudi Arabia, supporting a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation and the design of its Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul processes.

The role will take ownership of the MRO workstream, working closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams and the wider programme leadership to ensure SAP supports efficient and scalable maintenance and repair operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP MRO workstream across the S/4HANA programme.

• Own the design and implementation of MRO processes across maintenance, repair, overhaul and asset management.

• Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

• Lead process design, configuration, testing, integration and deployment activities.

• Ensure alignment between MRO and related SAP areas including SAP PM/EAM, MM, PP, QM, Finance and Logistics.

• Drive workshops with key stakeholders and provide functional leadership throughout the programme.

• Support data migration, cutover and go-live activities.

• Manage MRO-related risks, issues, dependencies and deliverables.

• Work with the SI and internal SAP teams to ensure the solution is delivered to programme standards.

• Provide guidance and leadership to functional consultants and business process owners.

Experience Required

• Strong experience leading SAP MRO / SAP EAM / SAP PM programmes.

• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA, ideally within a manufacturing, aerospace, defence or heavy engineering environment.

• Strong understanding of maintenance, repair, overhaul and asset management processes.

• Experience working across complex, multi-site SAP implementations or transformations.

• Strong knowledge of integration between MRO/EAM and MM, PP, QM, Finance and Logistics.

• Experience leading workshops and working directly with senior business stakeholders.

• Strong programme delivery and stakeholder management skills.

• Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC would be advantageous.

Project Environment

This is a senior role within a major Saudi manufacturing transformation, offering the opportunity to influence the future-state MRO operating model and play a key role in the organisation's move towards SAP S/4HANA.
