Job summary

Arla Foods in Saudi Arabia seeks a Field Sales professional to visit existing and new customers, generate leads, assess needs, and present demos. You will negotiate prices, close orders, and drive weekly plans to meet targets.

You will coach distributors, coordinate with distributors and customers, and ensure smooth operations while building lasting relationships in a dynamic FMCG market.

Qualifications

• 3 years in foodservice sales experience or equivalent track record.
• Valid driver license is required.
• Experience in FMCG sectors strengthens candidacy.
• Familiarity with the Saudi market is important.
• Good communication skills in English and Arabic.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Visits existing and new customers to convert into sales opportunities
• Proactively generate sales leads
• Assesses customer needs and suggests appropriate products and services
• Supports customers to solve their issues by giving demos
• Negotiate prices within limits of authority, and concludes sales orders to meet targets
• Identifies, researches and contacts of prospective customers and builds positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business
• Refers sales leads, customer feedback and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organisation in order for it to respond to changing market conditions and customer demands
• Establishes weekly sales plans and prioritizes and schedules own activities to reach the targets
• Ensures that he possesses full product knowledge of all relevant SKUs
• Coaches distributors sales representatives on selling skills, product knowledge and applications to help them achieve their sales targets
• Co-ordinates with distributors, direct customers and relevant people in the organization to ensure smooth operations
