Job summary

Petropipe Oil and Gas in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, seeks a junior to mid-level Sales Engineer to grow our business in valves, piping and flow control. Location is Al Khobar with frequent travel across the Kingdom to end users and EPCs.

You will build relationships, pursue vendor prequalification, and coordinate with application and bid teams to convert opportunities from project stages to orders. English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation or Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-6 years' B2B sales or sales engineering experience in industrial valves, piping, flow control, instrumentation or related equipment in Saudi Arabia.
• Existing access to local end users and contractors in the Kingdom.
• Good written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Valid Saudi driving licence (mandatory) and willingness to travel frequently.
• Open to Saudi nationals and to expatriates currently in Saudi Arabia with a transferable visa (Iqama).

Responsibilities

• Build and grow relationships with end users, EPC contractors and maintenance contractors in oil and gas, petrochemical, refining, power, water and mining.
• Get Petropipe prequalified and registered as a vendor with end users, and approved on contractor bid lists for upcoming projects.
• Prepare and follow up vendor registration and prequalification documentation with customer procurement teams.
• Identify opportunities early, from project and budget stage through to tender and order.
• Understand customer requirements and specifications, and work with our application engineers and bid team on technical and commercial offers.
• Follow up quotations, support negotiations and close orders.
• Maintain the pipeline in the CRM and report weekly on visits, enquiries, quotes and forecasts.
• Represent Petropipe at industry events and customer technical days.

Sales Engineer – Valves, Piping & Flow Control (Saudi Arabia)

Petropipe is an industrial supply and engineering group serving the oil and gas, petrochemical, power, mining and process industries across the Middle East and Africa. We supply valves, piping, flow control and instrumentation, backed by international OEM partners. We are looking for a Sales Engineer to grow our business with end users and contractors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Location: Al Khobar, Eastern Province, with frequent travel to customer sites across the Kingdom

Advantageous

• Experience selling valve, piping or instrumentation products from established international manufacturers
• Existing relationships with major Saudi operators, petrochemical producers, utilities or EPCs
• Knowledge of IKTVA / local content requirements in customer procurement
