Job summary

Red Sea Global Hospitality is seeking a Retail Supervisor in Tabuk to oversee the luxury retail outlet, ensuring exceptional guest service and flawless store operations. You will lead the retail team, manage inventory, and ensure presentation meets brand standards, supporting the Spa & Recreation Manager in achieving sales and guest satisfaction goals.

The role requires 3–5 years in luxury retail or hospitality, strong leadership, and excellent communication to elevate the guest shopping

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; retail/hospitality education advantageous.
  • 3–5 years experience in luxury/hospitality retail or guest service environment.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience with POS and payment processing.
  • Knowledge of luxury product presentation and client service.

Responsibilities

  • Team supervision: guide and support Retail Clerks to ensure daily operations and service standards.
  • Guest experience: provide warm, professional, personalized retail service for niche/high-end products.
  • Sales performance: support achievement of targets, upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Daily operations: oversee opening/closing, cash handling, store procedures.
  • Product knowledge: maintain strong knowledge of products and promotions for tailored recommendations.
  • Merchandising: oversee presentation and organization of merchandise per brand standards.
  • Inventory management: monitor stock, replenish, count, report discrepancies.
  • Sales transactions: ensure accurate processing of room charges and credit card payments.
  • Guest concerns: handle issues professionally and resolve promptly.
  • Store standards: maintain cleanliness, organization, and visuals of high-end merchandise.
  • Training and development: coach team on product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Reporting: provide updates on sales, feedback, inventory, and team needs.

The Role

The Retail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail outlet, ensuring exceptional guest service, efficient store operations, and a consistently high standard of merchandise presentation.

The role is responsible for supervising and supporting the retail team, driving sales performance, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring that luxury and high-end products are presented and handled in accordance with brand standards. The Retail Supervisor plays a key role in creating a seamless and memorable shopping experience while supporting the Spa & Recreation Manager in achieving operational and commercial objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Team Supervision: Supervise, guide, and support Retail Clerks and other team members to ensure efficient daily operations and consistently high service standards.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure guests receive a warm, professional, and personalized retail experience, particularly when assisting with niche and high-end products.
  • Sales Performance: Support the achievement of sales targets by monitoring performance, encouraging upselling and cross-selling, and identifying opportunities to enhance revenue.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee the smooth opening and closing of the retail outlet, ensuring all operational procedures, cash handling, and store standards are followed.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of products, promotions, and luxury merchandise and ensure the team is equipped to provide accurate information and tailored recommendations to guests.
  • Merchandising: Oversee the presentation and organization of merchandise, ensuring displays are attractive, well-maintained, and aligned with brand and visual merchandising standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, oversee replenishment and inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, and report low stock or inventory concerns to management.
  • Sales Transactions and Cash Handling: Ensure transactions, including room charges and credit card payments, are processed accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Guest Concerns: Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Store Standards: Ensure the retail outlet remains clean, organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing at all times, with particular attention to the presentation and care of high-end merchandise.
  • Training and Development: Provide on-the-job guidance and coaching to team members, supporting their product knowledge, sales skills, and overall performance.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Spa & Recreation Manager regarding sales performance, guest feedback, inventory concerns, operational issues, and team requirements.
  • Compliance: Ensure team members follow company policies, operational procedures, grooming standards, health and safety requirements, and established retail controls.
Building Successful Relationships
  • Spa & Recreation Manager: Provide regular updates on retail operations, sales performance, inventory, guest feedback, and team matters.
  • Guests: Build strong relationships by delivering personalized and memorable service that encourages guest satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
  • Management: Collaborate with management to support commercial objectives, communicate operational requirements, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Team Members: Lead and support the retail team, fostering a collaborative, positive, and high-performing work environment.
  • Vendors and Suppliers: Coordinate with suppliers and relevant stakeholders as required to support product availability, deliveries, and operational needs.
Key Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in Retail, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in luxury retail, hospitality retail, or a guest service environment, preferably with exposure to niche or high-end products.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
  • Retail training or certification is an advantage.
  • Experience working with point-of-sale systems, cash handling, room charges, and credit card transactions.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and support a team.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Strong sales awareness with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance revenue and improve performance.
  • Good knowledge of luxury retail standards, merchandising, and product presentation.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in handling transactions and inventory.
  • Ability to resolve guest concerns professionally and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with management and colleagues.
  • Professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry moderate weights as required.
