  • Ensure high availability and smooth operation of IT infrastructure across guest-facing and back-of-house environments—including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and hospitality applications.
  • Administer and maintain enterprise network infrastructure—including FortiGate firewalls and Aruba switching and wireless—ensuring secure segmentation (VLANs), high availability, resilient failover, and consistent performance across guest and corporate networks.
  • Manage the Microsoft cloud and endpoint estate—Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Entra ID (identity and conditional access), with device provisioning and compliance through Microsoft Intune—enabling secure, seamless access for corporate and property teams.
  • Proactively monitor system performance and resolve outages with minimal disruption to guest experience and hotel operations.
  • Oversee data protection through regular backups, robust disaster recovery protocols, and comprehensive cybersecurity measures tailored to hospitality environments.
Guest Technology & Experience Enhancement
  • Elevate the luxury experience through optimized guest-facing technologies such as high-speed Wi‑Fi, smart room controls, mobile concierge apps, IPTV, and digital key systems.
  • Partner with front office, housekeeping, F&B, and spa teams to integrate intuitive, efficient technology solutions that enhance service delivery.
  • Troubleshoot AV systems, digital signage, and event/conference room technologies to ensure flawless guest experiences during events and VIP stays.
Team Leadership & Service Culture
  • Lead and inspire the IT support team in delivering exceptional service to both internal users and external guests, aligned with the hospitality brand’s service standards.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and training on new systems, service protocols, and cybersecurity awareness.
  • Manage the IT helpdesk, ensuring prompt, courteous, and effective resolution of technical requests from staff and guests alike.
Technology Projects & Innovation
  • Support the execution of hospitality-specific IT initiatives—Property Management System (PMS) upgrades, Point of Sale (POS) integrations, Internet of Things (IoT) deployments for smart operations, etc.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with hotel departments, vendors, and consultants to implement solutions that improve guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Track milestones, costs, and timelines to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with brand standards.
Governance, Compliance & Cybersecurity
  • Ensure strict adherence to hospitality-relevant regulations such as PCI‑DSS (for secure payment systems), GDPR, and PDPA.
  • Leverage Microsoft Defender and the broader Microsoft security suite for threat detection, endpoint protection, and continuous monitoring across the estate.
  • Maintain clear documentation of system architecture, IT policies, vendor contracts, and audit logs.
  • Conduct periodic security reviews and vulnerability assessments to safeguard guest data and business continuity.
Sustainability & Responsible IT
  • Support the implementation of sustainable IT practices—such as low‑energy hardware, cloud‑based systems to reduce infrastructure footprint, and paperless workflows.
