Job summary

Riyad Bank in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a seasoned Senior Strategic Planning & PMO Leader to drive the planning, coordination and delivery of major retail banking programs aligned with Vision 2030 priorities.

You will establish governance, roadmaps, and delivery frameworks, lead a cross‑functional team, and report to senior leadership and Board committees to ensure clear ownership, milestones, and KPIs across Consumer Banking initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or PMP/Prince2 preferred.
• 10+ years in banking or financial services, with at least 5 years in senior strategic planning or PMO leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the Consumer Banking strategic initiatives portfolio aligned with the bank's retail strategy and Vision 2030 priorities.
• Develop programs charters, roadmaps, and delivery frameworks for major cross-functional initiatives.
• Track and report on initiative progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
• Establish and maintain a robust PMO function for retail banking programs.
• Ensure all initiatives follow governance standards, with clear ownership, KPIs, and escalation paths.
• Identify inter-dependencies between programs and manage conflicts or priorities.
• Coordinate with all Consumer Banking units, IT, Finance, HR, and Risk to ensure aligned and integrated delivery.
• Prepare and present strategic initiative updates to the Consumer Banking leadership and Board committees.
• Lead and develop the strategic initiatives team, building strong programs management capability.
• Foster a culture of execution discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Prepares departmental reports of Riyad Bank timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
• Represents the function and actively contributes in various committees/meetings (internal and external) as applicable and per authority levels in order to ensure relevant matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
