Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, listen to preferences, and recommend chocolates and gifts.
• Share the Alain Ducasse brand story, product characteristics and craftsmanship with confidence.
• Build lasting guest relationships and handle queries; refer complex matters to management when needed.
• Support individual and team sales goals through thoughtful recommendations and upselling.
• Introduce seasonal collections, limited editions, and gifting solutions.
• Process POS, cash, and card transactions accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain beautiful packaging to brand standards and ensure order accuracy.
• Keep displays clean, attractive, properly labeled, and boutique presentation impeccable.
• Assist with tastings, launches, retail events and corporate gifting orders as assigned.
• Share guest feedback and potential corporate enquiries with the manager.
• Follow food hygiene, safety, security, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer welcome & product knowledge

• Greeting guests warmly, listening to their preferences and recommend chocolates and gifts suited to the occasion.
• Share the Alain Ducasse brand story, product characteristics and craftsmanship with confidence and accuracy.
• Build lasting guest relationships and handle queries courteously, referring complex matters to management.
• Work towards individual and team sales goals through natural recommendations and appropriate upselling.
• Introduce seasonal collections, limited editions, and gifting solutions.
• Process POS, cash, and card transactions accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.

Presentation & stock

• Package purchases beautifully to brand standards and check order accuracy.
• Maintain clean, attractive displays, correct labels, and impeccable boutique presentation.
• Support stock counts, replenishment, rotation and reporting of shortages or damage.

Teamwork & events

• Assist with tastings, launches, retail events and preparation of corporate gifting orders as assigned.
• Share guest feedback and potential corporate enquiries with the manager.
• Follow food hygiene, safety, security, and company procedures and contribute to a welcoming team environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or retail diploma an advantage, Customer Service, Sales Techniques, Food Safety, or Food Hygiene certifications.

Years of Experience:

• Minimum 1–2 years of retail sales experience, ideally in luxury goods, chocolate, or gourmet food.

Nature of Experience:

• Experience in customer service, product recommendations, upselling, POS transactions, cash handling, product presentation, and stock replenishment.
