Job summary

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts on Ummahat Island, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Full Time Non-Management staff member within Food and Beverage & Culinary. The role focuses on leading a team to deliver exceptional guest service and maintaining high standards of grooming, safety, and hospitality.

The position requires 2+ years of related experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience. The incumbent will assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating staff, and upholding company safety

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff works as a team to deliver optimum service.
• Inspect grooming and attire; rectify deficiencies.
• Complete opening and closing duties; set up supplies and tools; clean equipment and areas.
• Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO, and cleanliness.
• Complete inventories and stock requisition of supplies.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating, service, safety, and guest well-being.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees; serve as role model and Open Door contact.
• Follow safety policies; report accidents and unsafe conditions; complete safety training.
• Ensure uniform and professional appearance; protect assets and confidentiality.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests; anticipate needs; assist guests with disabilities; thank guests.
• Communicate clearly and professionally.
• Develop positive working relationships; support team goals; listen and respond to concerns.
• Identify and implement improvements to quality, efficiency, safety, and cost.
