Role Context

The Reporting Lead will serve as the central point for performance information across a complex airport and airfield development. The role will bring together data from planning, cost, risk, commercial, construction, and project controls teams to create a consistent view of program status. Strong reporting discipline will allow leadership to identify schedule slippage, cost pressure, unresolved risks, and milestone threats early enough to support timely corrective action across airside, landside, terminal, and systems packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the project reporting framework, reporting calendar, templates, dashboards, and KPI structure.
• Produce weekly, monthly, and executive-level reports covering schedule, cost, physical progress, risk, change, issues, and major milestones.
• Standardize reporting methodologies across project packages, contractors, consultants, and internal delivery teams.
• Coordinate with planning and project controls teams to capture validated progress and current schedule performance.
• Monitor critical paths, near-critical activities, milestone achievement, and key package deliverables.
• Track performance across airfield, airside, landside, terminal, infrastructure, and systems workstreams.
• Analyze schedule variances and highlight emerging threats to contractual and program milestones.
• Consolidate planning information into concise management narratives explaining current status and forecast implications.
• Coordinate with cost control and commercial teams to obtain accurate budget, commitment, expenditure, forecast, and cash flow information.
• Monitor budget utilization and identify unfavorable cost movements or potential overruns.
• Track approved and pending variations and ensure their effects are reflected appropriately in performance reporting.
• Consolidate financial and schedule information to provide leadership with an integrated view of project performance.
• Gather information from contractors, consultants, project teams, and specialist functions against defined reporting deadlines.
• Validate submitted information for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and traceability before publication.
• Challenge discrepancies between reported progress, schedule status, financial information, and supporting evidence.
• Maintain effective data and document version control across reporting platforms.
• Integrate schedule, cost, risk, progress, and change information into unified management dashboards.
• Maintain risk, issue, action, and change reporting for inclusion in regular project performance reviews.
• Monitor mitigation actions and identify high-priority risks requiring management intervention.
• Support change control reporting by presenting status, impact assessments, approvals, and implementation progress.
• Prepare executive summaries for senior management, Client leadership, governance boards, and steering committees.
• Translate complex project controls information into concise and decision-oriented presentations.
• Highlight trends, exceptions, deteriorating performance, and areas requiring leadership attention.
• Act as a reporting interface between technical delivery teams and senior project leadership.
• Ensure project reports comply with governance procedures, contractual obligations, and Client reporting standards.
• Maintain traceable reporting evidence to support management reviews, assurance activities, and audits.
• Coordinate recurring reporting cycles and ensure all contributors meet submission deadlines.
• Lead reporting analysts or project controls resources assigned to management information activities.
• Provide guidance on data definitions, reporting templates, KPIs, narratives, and presentation standards.
• Review reporting outputs produced by team members for quality and accuracy.
• Develop automated reporting solutions to reduce manual consolidation and improve data reliability.
• Create and enhance Power BI dashboards for schedule, progress, cost, risk, and management performance indicators.
• Identify opportunities to connect source systems and reduce duplicate data handling.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor 's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project reporting, project controls, management information, or performance analysis.
• Proven experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, airport, aviation, or similarly complex capital projects.
• Airport or airfield construction experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of planning, scheduling, cost control, progress measurement, risk, and change management.
• Demonstrated experience consolidating information from multiple contractors, consultants, and technical disciplines.
• Strong capability in interpreting project performance data and identifying material trends or inconsistencies.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Power BI.
• Advanced Power BI, dashboard development, or data analytics capability is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of risk management and change control processes.
• Experience preparing executive-level reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Strong attention to data accuracy, governance, and version control.
