Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Operations Experienced Professional - Remote Operations to join the 24/7 remote drilling team in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. You will provide real-time support for LWD operations and related software, ensuring safe, efficient completion of drilling and evaluation tasks.

The role requires a Bachelor in Petroleum Engineering or related field, 3+ years of drilling services experience, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor studies in Petroleum Engineering, Geology or Earth Sciences.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Drilling Services.
• Able to work in a 24/7 service environment with a shift schedule.
• Solid background across down-hole drilling, evaluation tools and services.
• Good communications skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Providing real-time monitoring and evaluation of drilling and well parameters in order to complete operations safely and efficiently.
• Collecting and ensuring both surface and down-hole data are stored in the database and preparing required deliverables.
• Participating in managing the job cycle activities to proactively impact service delivery.
• Mentoring junior engineers on raising competencies by developing processes and procedures.
• Providing technical support for the assigned product portfolio and associated software when required.
• Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, code of conduct and compliance requirements.
