Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an LWD Remote Operations Engineer to support real-time drilling operations in Saudi Arabia. You will monitor drilling and well parameters, collect data, and help ensure safe, efficient job execution while working within a 24/7 remote operations team.

The role requires a bachelor’s in petroleum, geology, or earth sciences, 3+ years in drilling services, and strong English communication. Shift-based, with 24/7 service coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology or Earth Sciences.
• 3+ years experience in Drilling Services (Baker Hughes preferred).
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time monitoring and evaluation of drilling and well parameters to complete operations safely and efficiently.
• Collect surface and down-hole data, store in database, and prepare required deliverables.
• Participate in managing job cycle activities to proactively impact service delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers by developing processes and procedures to raise competencies.
• Provide technical support for the assigned product portfolio and software when required.
• Follow Baker Hughes HSE policies, code of conduct, and compliance requirements.

As part of 24/7 Remote Operations Team,you will provide real-time support for the LWD product portfolio and associated software. With the goals to prevent/minimize non-productive time for customers and provide service delivery.

As a LWD Remote Operations Engineer, you willbe responsible for:

• Providing real-time monitoring and evaluation of drilling and well parametersin order tocomplete operations in a safe and efficient manner
• Collecting and ensure both surface and down-hole data is stored in the database andpreparingrequired deliverables
• Participating in managing the job cycle activities to proactivelyimpactservice delivery
• Mentoring junior engineers on raising the competencies by developing specific processes and procedures
• Providing technical support for the assigned product portfolio and associated software whenrequired
• Conducting all business activitiesin accordance withBaker Hughes HSE policies, code of conductand compliance requirements

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have completed Bachelor studies in Petroleum Engineering, Geology or Earth Sciences.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Drilling Services (previous Baker Hughes experience preferred)
• Be able to work in a 24/7 service environment, based on an agreed shift schedule
• Have a solid background and knowledge across a broad range of down-hole drilling, evaluationtoolsand services
• Have proven ability to recognize,analyzeand solve technical issues, coupled with aprocess-orientedworking style
• Havegood communicationskills both verbal and written in English
