Job summary

Weatherford in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Field Specialist III to independently execute and supervise advanced field operations at the well site.

You will serve as the primary technical interface with clients, ensure service quality, equipment readiness, and adherence to HSE standards while guiding junior personnel.

Responsibilities include planning tool inspection, BHA design reviews, running WBCO and negative test packer assemblies, and thorough post-job reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical or petroleum engineering.
• 8+ years oilfield experience in Wellbore Productivity, Downhole Tools, or Completions.
• Experience executing complex field operations with downhole tools.
• Experience with wellbore cleaning, PBL, WBCO, cement cleanout, and pre-completion.
• IWCF Supervisor Level or IADC WellCAP preferred.
• Willingness to work onshore/offshore and travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute field operations; inspect tools; perform post-job reporting.
• Operate Wellbore Productivity and Downhole Tools per procedures.
• Review BHA designs based on well conditions and client needs.
• Execute wellbore cleaning and PBL operations; deploy WBCO assemblies.
• Run negative test packer assemblies with WBCO for cement cleanout.
• Support cement drill-out and casing cleanout; manage documentation.
• Maintain safety, HSE compliance and client communication.
• Provide technical guidance to junior personnel.
