Job summary

Opus in Riyadh is seeking an Area Manager to oversee performance of branches within a defined geographic area, drive sales and profitability, and implement plans and standards to ensure a superior customer experience across all stores.

You will lead branch managers, monitor KPIs, coordinate with marketing, supply and operations, and travel regularly between branches to drive results and develop staff for higher performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience managing branches or area operations, preferably in the retail sector.
• Experience leading multi-site teams and achieving sales targets.
• Strong leadership, analysis, planning, and performance-management skills.
• Proficiency in preparing reports and using point-of-sale systems and inventory management systems.
• Willingness to travel between branches within the area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the area’s operational and sales plans and monitor their implementation.
• Manage the performance of branch managers and teams, set objectives, and review results.
• Analyze sales, revenue, profitability, and performance indicators, and take corrective actions.
• Visit branches regularly to ensure compliance with approved standards and policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and product availability, and coordinate with supply and procurement teams.
• Oversee the execution of campaigns and marketing promotions in the area’s branches.
• Develop the capabilities of branch managers and employees through guidance and training.
• Monitor the customer experience and handle complaints and recurring challenges.
• Coordinate with relevant departments regarding branch staffing needs, maintenance, and equipment requirements.
• Prepare periodic reports on area performance and submit recommendations to senior management.
• Identify expansion opportunities or ways to improve branch performance in collaboration with the relevant departments.
